It’s that time of the year again. What a joy!
Christmas is just around the corner. What is not ready until now, may be very precious than what is done and ready so far.
Yes, busy ovens panning out delicious Christmassy treats with warm and fresh aroma of all-spice & everything nice, wafting through in the house, hand-crafted Christmas deco on the walls, lights and greetings, meet ups, gatherings, fun and laughter follow.
But, hey, are you ready yet?
The glory of Christmas is the story of His love.
Whose beautiful love are we celebrating?
“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29
As we sing, let’s be reminded of
O holy Child of Bethlehem, descend to us, we pray;
Cast out our sin, and enter in, be born in us today.
We hear the Christmas angels the great glad tidings tell;
O come to us, abide with us, our Lord Emmanuel!
I’m quoting scripture here as they spoke to me.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:17
The Lord has taken away your punishment. Zephaniah 3:15
Isn’t he wonderful? He came to save the world. He has taken away our punishment for our sins.
If you were not told about this before, are you ready to welcome Him to accept Him as Lord and Savior?
From Bethlehem, the place of his birth to your heart anywhere in the world.
The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
Through him all things were made (John 1:2).
By His word, everything was created. His words brought the universe. Do you get the picture of what His joy with singing will do?
Are you ready for Christmas?
Joy to the world, the Lord has come!
Let earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare Him room
