For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Courteous readers, we are a tripartite being with body, soul and spirit.

It is God Almighty who fills our body with power, our heart with love and our mind with strength. They are the best things we could ever have and we all constantly strive to achieve them. Mind is the gateway to our soul, same as heart to our spirit. What could we do with body that has no power, heart that does not love, mind that is not sane and hale?

The verse here talks about extraordinary power like in a dynamite which can make a person, alive and kicking. Our body made of flesh, bones, blood, organs, organ systems is constantly in need of energy. Do you know our energy currency molecule in our body cells is ATPs (Adenosine Triphosphate). We need ATPs for anything and everything.

God-given power is true and unfailing. His power gives fullness and strength; there can be no weakness in any part of the body, sickness, metabolic pathway disorders, genetic disorders, malfunctions, mutations, chromosomal abnormalities, brain disorders, developmental disabilities and congenital disabilities. Every molecular biological process small to big are set to work beautifully and effectively that immune system repels every foreign and harmful entity. There’s absolute health full of energy and glow. That’s the body with power.

Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20

Our heart is an inner being that loves. It keeps on loving something or someone all the time whether we speak or not. Many mixed feelings come from our experiences. When our heart is full of love, we are joyful, cheerful, caring, sharing, respecting others and their feelings just the way we treat ourselves. That’s the heart filled with love.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8

Our mind being the gateway to our soul:

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things. Philippians 4:8

If we think of such things, we will have a clear and sound mind, and everything that surrounds mind (conscience, reason, imagination, emotions, and will), there can be no conflicts or no psychosomatic illnesses(mind & body disorders).

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18 

God has not given to us the spirit of fear but makes us dynamic and loving with a clear, sound mind.

What a mighty God He is !
